How to avoid yo-yo effect of weight management?

Once upon a time (ok, it is not THAT long ago), I was so proud of approaching 75kg weight. Prior to that, I weighed at ~88kg. My "strict" diet and "sufficient" amount of exercising helped me to reduce weight, though it took me so darn long, almost a year, to finally approaching 75kg.

UNFORTUNATELY, this post of mine is not to boast of my achievement but more to my failure to maintain the good trend of my weight management. Instead, I am NOW weighing ~85kg... WTF happened? Oh well, there are many "lame" reasons...

1. Eating due to negative moods (sad, angry, depress, etc.)
2. Terminated gym membership > no more 'excuse' to force myself to gym for workout
3. Started back my dinner consumption which I used to skip 'long ago'
4. Very very very lack of exercise

What's your story? Be it negative or positive, it'll be a good sharing to everyone and anyone... So, care to share yours?
